While she's dealing with that, Jude, the sexy Australian guy, comes looking for her. He exchanged couches with Rick, but his couch is already taken, so he will have to stay with her.

From the beginning Jude is sweet and protective with her. He likes to be with her and do things together, and it's obvious he likes her. He's very funny and Alyssa feels good with him. Oh, and Jude is hot. Very hot.

Little by little they become closer, and even when they have everything against them, they can help but fall in love.

Suite Dreams is a very short and cute book. It's lovely and has an open happy ending. I recommend it for those days when you just want to read something light, happy and romantic.

It was a fantastic read for anyone looking for the typical boy meets girl and they both find love in each other in an unexpected way sort of plot. This book particularly stood out to me because it jumped right into the fun and romance without making too rushed and unbelievable. Rachel Hawthorne delivers again.
I have enjoyed other books by this author, but this book left me majorly disappointed. The premise is cutesy, but not in an overly cheesy way. However, the author creates a dilemma for the characters (the budding long distance romance) and then never solves it. The ending wrapped up incredibly quickly and was vastly unsatisfying. I know I shouldn't expect too much from this particular genre, but I feel like the author was just too lazy to give the characters an ending they deserved.
This is a sweet story. Aussie Jude knew what he wanted, was thoughtful and carefree, brimming with so much energy! Alyssa was okay. A pretty clean book that would appeal to teenagers. For me, I wished for more intense interaction and I HATED how unsatisfactory the book ended . . . it was cut short.
I was a bit hesitant about reading this book, but I decided to give it a try. It turne out that this book was a breath of fresh air from all the crappy novels that I have been reading. Though the book is short, it is a great book to sit down and read and I guarantee you that you will get your money's worth when you purchase this book.

The book was funny and I especially loved the characters that the author develepoed in the story. I felt myself sympathizing with the characters and wishing the book could be more longer.

I love This book and reread it all the time. It kept me interested and laughing with the characters. It's a cute story about a girl who doesn't believe she can be fun because of her ex and an Aussie guy who takes summers to take a break from studying and to have have fun while couch surfing. The two discover that they get along well and the rest I will leave up to you to read! I'm not spoiling the story!!
I disagree with the reviewer that said that the author may have been too lazy to give the characters an ending they deserve. I think the book may have more been about the DYNAMIC in a relationship, rather than a plot twist. The book ends giving the reader a chance to reflect on relationships. The story was entertaining enough. I can see this being a Hallmark movie.
My Thoughts Another cute book! I totally love reading Rachel Hawthorne and this was the one I have been looking forward to most! It was so cute! I liked the whole idea of a guy coming and sleeping on her couch. Its always the weirdest ways people fall in love. Especially when they least expect it or want it. I like reading about the mysterious ways love works. This was a pretty fast read but I enjoyed each and every page of it. I felt her boyfriend who arranged the couch swapping was a little bit of a jerk, but the hot Aussie that came to visit her totally made up for it. A definite read for anyone who likes romance and I definitely recommend this book. It was a light and breezy read. Aimed more at young adults but I love young adult books so I enjoyed it very much! The best out of all her books I've read so far~
